J M GidmanThis is the first novel of retired librarian J. M. Gidman. She was born in Yorkshire but has lived in Lancashire for a number of years. Her love of reading and history has led her to write two books and articles on historical subjects. She is a membe of several local history societies and gives talks to local groups.
