Ivy IrelandIvy Ireland runs a bookstore cafe in Newcastle with her partner, Murrie and their toddler, Poppy. Ivy was awarded the Australian Young Poet Fellowship in 2007 and she has won the local section of the Newcastle Poetry Prize and the Harri Jones Memoria Prize for poetry. Ivy's poems have been published in various literary magazines and anthologies such as Overland and Going Down Swinging and she has a poem on permanent display in the Bletchley Park Museum, Milton Keynes, UK. Ivy's first collection of poetry, Incidental Complications, was published by the Poets Union Press in 2007. In her spare time, Ivy teaches Creative Writing at the University of Newcastle, where she completed her Ph.D. in 2012.
