Isaac Sebastian CrespiBorn in 1947, in Athens, Isaac S. Gabbai, a Greek high school graduate, lived in Israel for eight years, from 1968 to 1976. He studied History of Art at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and while there, worked in the Security department at the Isrel Museum. He did his military service in the Israeli army and in 1976 he returned back to Greece to work at his father's agency, representing foreign textile manufacturers. on his father's retirement, he took over the management of the business. In 1980, he got married and his son Emilio was born in 1981. In 2000, after submitting papers to the authorities, he acquired Greek citizenship. He worked until his retirement in 2012. Kaddish his first novel, was published in Greece in 2019 and was translated by himself into English in 2020. He is a permanent resident of Greece and lives in Athens. Read More Read Less
