Imtraud StellrechtIrmtraud Stellrecht, born 1943 in Heidenheim an der Brenz, is a German ethnologist. She received her doctorate in 1972. In 1978 and 1980 she carried out her own field research in northern Pakistan in the areas of Gilgit and Hunza. In 1987 she accepte a professorship at the University of Cologne and since 1991 she has been a professor at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen.
