He earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Endocrinology from Chonam National University, South Korea with an emphasis on gene regulation and physiological function of an androgen receptor corepressor-19kD using mice model. He has written various manuscripts, grants, progress reports, pre-IND protocols, animal protocols and published in well reputed international journals. He has also received various awards such as Brain Korea-21 Best Research presenter award 2007, Bharath Vikas award 2016, Young Scientist Award 2017 & 2019, STE meritorious award 2019 etc. He serves as a member of editorial boards of various peer reviewed journals.
