Ike WilliamsIke Williams was born in Jamaica nearly a decade before the island gained its independence from Britain in 1962. He considers himself fortunate to have experienced life in both colonial and post-colonial Jamaica. These experiences have molded in him rich and unique understanding of life. It has also provided for him the ability to draw upon the diverse cultural narratives that both the post and pre-independent Jamaica have woven into his creative matrix.
