I WarringtonIan James Warrington CNZM is a horticultural scientist based in New Zealand. He served as HortResearch's former CEO (now known as Plant & Food Research). Up until his post was eliminated as part of a cost-cutting measure, he was a senior administrato at Massey University. In 1984, Warrington was given the T. K. Sidey Medal, a recognition for exceptional scientific research instituted by the Royal Society of New Zealand.
