I Dewa Putu BerataDewa was born and raised in Pengosekan, Ubud, Bali. He is a visual artist and also distinguished composer, teacher, director, and arts activist. He is the founding director of Çudamani, one of Bali's most active and respected performing arts schools.He was a cultural consultant for Disney's Raya and the Last Dragon and co-composer with Jason Gallaty for Kena Bridge of Spirits (Sony Playstation). Dewa grew up drawing with a stick in the dirt under the banyan tree in his village, he and still makes amazing shadow puppets out of banana leaves for his nieces and nephews.
