Hy ShawHy Shaw is a pseudonym of Hayim Schwartzman. Hayim grew up in Greenfield, Massachusetts and spent most of his life in Saratoga Springs, New York. These areas figure prominently in this novel The Dim Light of Dawn. He worked for nearly forty ears as a nuclear engineer, working on the operation and development of marine propulsion systems.
