Humyong YunYun Humyong was born in Kang-neung, Kang-won-do Province, in 1946. Before he was graduated from Yonsei University in 1969 with a degree in Philosophy, he initiated his literary career in 1967 with a winning entry in the annual spring literary contestheld by the Kyung-hyang Daily News and became a well-known poet. In 1979, he made his debut as a novelist. A prolific writer, he has published numerous novels, two collections of poetry, a children's story, and much else.
