Hugo VasquezHugo Vásquez, Piura,1983, studied Photography at Lima's Centro de la Imagen. Throughout his career, he has made six individual exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in different parts of the world and art fairs. He obtained second place i the "IILA Prize," in ROME and was a finalist in the Contest, Passport for an Artist of the French Embassy in 2009 and 2011, ICPNA National Photography Salon in 2008, 2014, 2017, and 2018, and the 2011 Petrobras Award (Buenos Aires), ICPNA Award, Contemporary Art2017 and 2018. BCR Painting Award, 2019. In 2016, the Latin American Photo Library (FOLA) in Argentina acquired some of his works for their permanent collection. In July 2017, the "Luis Adelantado Valencia" gallery selected him for the XIX CALL directed to the most promising contemporary artists worldwide.
