Hubert OwensHUBERT B. OWENS (1905-89), a professor of landscape design, established UGA's landscape architecture program in 1928. He was named the first dean of the School of Environmental Design in 1969 and served as director of the American Society of Landscap Architects between 1965 and 1967.
