Huangxian JuHe received B.S., M.S. and Ph.D degrees from this university in 1986, 1989 and 1992, and became a full professor in 1999. He is a fellow of the International Society of Electrochemistry and the Royal Society of Chemistry, and won the National Funds fr National Distinguished Young Scholars in 2003, and National Basic Research Program of China as a chief scientist in 2009. His research interests include analytical biochemistry and nanobiosensing, focusing on signal amplification and life analytical chemistry. He has guided about 40 students (1/3 of his students) to develop immunosensing methodology for detection of protein biomarkers with electrochemical biosensing, optical detection, imaging analysis, flow injection, biosensor array, molecular biology, signal amplification and nanobiotechnology.
