Horacio A HernándezHoracio A. Hernáaacute;ndez was born in Sabana de la Mar, Dominican Republic; he holds a M.A. and Ph.D. in Spanish and Latin American literature from the State University of New York at Albany. He has a Licenciatura in Modern Languages from Universidd Autóoacute;noma de Santo Domingo (UASD), 1987. Before coming to USA, Dr. Hernández worked for ten years as a Spanish language trainer and technical coordinator for the Peace Corps in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He also taught for six years at Northfield Mount Hermon School, MA; and seven years in Houghton College, Houghton, NY. Dr. Hernández also worked in Montreat College, North Carolina, for more than ten years as a professor of Spanish Language and Literature. He is the author of The Incredible Wedding of a Dictator, a novel in Spanish with the title, La increíiacute;ble boda de un dictador, and a book of poetry, Divagaciones Poéeacute;ticas. In 2021, he published his eBooks: Meditaciones cristianas, Cuentos para niñntilde;os y El niño que se convirtió en ángel. He is now working on the written versions of these three books.
