Hiten PatelHitendra K. Patel is Professor and Head, Department of History, Rabindra Bharati, Kolkata. He was a Fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla (2019-21). His publications include Communalism and the Intelligentsia in Bihar, 1870-1930: Saping Caste, Community and Nationhood (2011); Bharat ka Pahla Mukti Sangharsha (edited with Devendra Chaubey and Badri Narayan, 2014); and Aadhunik Bharat ka Aitihasik Yatharth (2022).
