Hisham BahmadDr. Bahmad is a physician scientist with more than 8 years of experience in basic, clinical, and translational research (2014-2022), mainly focusing on prostate, bladder, and brain tumors. His research work concentrates on understanding cancer progresion and isolating and therapeutically targeting cancer stem cells in solid tumors (prostate cancer among others) which are believed to be responsible for therapy resistance and tumor recurrence. He published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers and book chapters in well-reputable journals mainly related to cancer stem cells and overcoming therapy resistance in various tumors.
