Hester MacDonaldHester Macdonald grew up gardening in the deep, rich, black soil of a Victorian garden in Liverpool. She chose her Cambridge college for its gardens, and after a degree in English, headed into industry for a few years before escaping to become a gardn designer. She moved to Switzerland in 2001 and fell in love with the country, the people and its gardens.
