Heidi MorrisonHeidi Morrison is Associate Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, USA, and a senior visiting researcher at Tampere University's Center of Excellence in the History of Experiences in Finland. Morrison is the author of i>Childhood and Colonial Modernity in Egypt (2015) and the editor of The Global History of Childhood Reader (2012). Along with Stephanie Olsen, she is the editor of the 4-volume Children, Childhood and Youth in the Long Nineteenth Century: A Global Primary Source Collection. She is the founding president of the Association of Middle East Children's and Youth Studies (AMECYS) and is on the board of the Palestinian American Research Center (PARC). She is currently writing a book, Surviving Memory in Palestine: Children of the Second Intifada and editing a volume, Lived Resistance: Interrupting Unchilding in Palestine.
