Hayley Besheer SantellHayley Besheer Santell lives and works in the heart of America - Kansas City, Missouri - with her husband, red doberman and a cat named kitten. She has been a practicing artist - specializing in watercolor, acrylic, oil, graphic design and fashion deign - for over fifteen years, with dual degrees in Fine Arts and Journalism from the University of Missouri and continuing education from Florence University of the Arts. In 2013, she launched MADI Apparel - an ethical basics brand focused on making a difference in every element by paying living wages, sourcing eco-conscious fabrics and donating a pair of biodegradable underwear to women for every item sold. Her work as a conscious designer and MADI Apparel's ethical production processes have been featured in Forbes, Huff Post, BBC News, Nylon, Men's Journal, Brides, The Knot, Washington Post, Causeartist, Imagine5 and more. Today, Santell continues to marry her passions for sustainable art and fashion. She recently launched Slow Motion Goods - a shop for conscious consumers - where all products are either used, reclaimed and slowly given a second life or ethically-made and produced by MADI Apparel.
