Hassan El Bari

Prof. Hassan El Bari is a full professor at Ibn Tofail University, in Morocco. He has a PhD in Material Sciences from INPL (France) and a "Doctorat d’Etat" in Mechanical Engineering from the University Mohamed V-Morocco. Prof. El Bari is the Presient of the Moroccan Association of Solid Waste. He was Master Degree Coordinator for Waste Management (2010–2014) and has a long experience in teaching subjects related to waste management, bioenergy, and biogas technology. He has also been involved in many funded projects as a coordinator and partner. Prof. El Bari is an Associate Editor for the Cleaner Waste Systems Journal (Elsevier) and for Applied Science and Engineering Progress. He is co-editor of the books “Ecological Sustainable Waste Management—Energetic Utilization of Organic Waste” (2018), "Waste Management in Developing Countries” (2023), and “Biogas in the Circular Economy: Technology, Production, and Applications” (2025).
