Hartnell JarretJarret is a comic creator living in Calgary, Alberta, where he graduated with a degree in Illustration and design from AuArts where he also teaches narrative illustration. Jarret has fully committed himself to practicing all creative aspects of makin comics, including writing, illustrating, lettering and design. As a graduate from the music program at Red Deer college, he also composes scores to utilize all opportunities to express his love for telling stories.

As the writer, illustrator & letterer of his books, Jarret utilizes every tool possible to reach greater depths in the comics medium to bring you a story to experience to your core.

The freedom and intimacy of executing most roles normally tasked to a team allows for undiluted storytelling opportunities. As the writer, artist and letterer too, Jarret is able to adapt the story to suit the needs and mood of the fully realized art, including rewrites to the dialogue. As the letterer, he is able to integrate the letters into the art in ways that may not be as easy otherwise. Jarret learned a lot of important storytelling lessons with every step taken creating this graphic novel, taking the time needed to hone the story to fully represent his vision. It's been several years of hard work for Jarret, now he is ready to share his love for storytelling through one of the most magical forms of communication.
