Harold BergmanDr. Bergman was born in 1936, growing up in Toronto in the 1940s and 50s, graduating in dentistry in 1959. During an incredibly successful 60 year professional career, Dr. Bergman used his creativity and imagination to become an internationally recogized lecturer and trainer in implant dentistry and a prolific author of scientific books and technical publications. Although the 60 years spent in the profession were gratifying with many exciting and funny moments, he found it boring - seeking excitement outside his practice. Curiosity and creativity led him into numerous near fatal experiences. Imagine buying a Newfoundland fishing schooner, trying to turn it into a Bluenose replica, sailing her from Toronto down the Intracoastal Waterway to a disastrous ending in the Bahamas. During the trip he and his crew experienced many nightmare adventures, not explored during Power Squadron courses. He feels fortunate to survive an adventurous life many of us only dream about. He is now retired from active practice living in Vancouver during the summer and Mexico during the winter. Using his creative imagination, he has now embarked on a storytelling career as a fiction writer intertwining many of those frightening experiences into fascinating stories, giving the reader a glimpse of some of the dreams he or she may have considered. This book is the first in a series of murder mysteries involving Bernie Roper. For other publications by Dr. Bergman's, go to www.haroldbergman.com. Read More Read Less
