Harley RavenscroftThe author, Harley Ravenscroft, was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on August 4, 2002. She and her family moved to Norman, Oklahoma, and have lived there ever since. She always had a passion for reading and storytelling, but didn't start writing untl she got to middle school.
She was bullied from a very young age and writing became a way for her to escape the harsh realities of life. She still deals with bullies to this day along with a lot of her friends, but they don't affect her the way they did back then because she uses it in her writing.
An old friend of Harley dealt with a lot of problems such as bullying and thought he would be better off dead; he was the inspiration for this book along with her late cousin.
