Hans O TiefelHans O. Tiefel emigrated from Germany in 1949. Volunteering for the US Army secured US citizenship and veteran benefits for underwriting his education. Though raised in secular cultures, he was converted to the Christian faith during his Army years. ubsequently he earned degrees from Wake Forest University, Yale Divinity School, and Yale University (PhD).
