Hamid JabbarDr Hamid Jabbar is from the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, NUST College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering. He is Alumni of the same department, graduating in 2002. He has over ten years of industry experience in developing electronics ad data acquisition systems for aerospace navigation sensors. Since 2013, from the start of his PhD from Hanyang University of Seoul, South Korea, he focused his work on piezoelectric materials and devices based on these materials. In collaboration with the industries in Korea he obtained experience in design, manufacturing of wide variety of sensors, actuators, energy harvesters and transformers based on Piezoelectric ceramic materials. He is currently developing a lab-scale setup in Pakistan to indigenously develop these materials.
