H Peter ZellPeter Zell and his family came to America from their native Germany in 1950 when he was 13 and settled in Oak Park, Illinois. After earning an engineering degree at the University of Illinois and serving with the U.S. Army Reserve on active duty for wo years, the author was employed by the NASA as an engineer. In 1968, he returned to school earning an MBA degree at Columbia University in New York. There followed a career in international marketing and sales with a number of multinational companies.
