H Britt LandrumH. Britt Landrum, Jr. is the founder of LandrumHR and current chairman of the board for the parent corporation, Landrum Human Resource Companies, Inc. After founding the company in 1970, he served as its chief executive officer until turning the rein over to his son, H. Britt Landrum III, and retired from the company in 2017. Mr. Landrum has been active in several industry-related organizations, serving as a board member and officer of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) and Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC). He has served as president of the Florida Employment Association (FEA), National Personnel Associates (NPA), and TempNet, formerly Independent Temporary Services Association (ITSA). He was appointed by the Governor of Florida to serve as a member of the first Board of Employee Leasing Companies and served a term as chairman. Active in civic affairs, Landrum is a past member and chairman of the board of the Jacksonville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He served on the advisory board of AmSouth Bank and on the Florida advisory board of Liberty Mutual Insurance. He is past chairman of the board of Lakeview Center, and past vice chairman of the board of Baptist Health Care. He is past chairman of the board of trustees for the University of West Florida (UWF) Foundation, past chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Northwest Florida, past vice president of the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of the 90 & 9 Boys Ranch, and past chairman of the United Way of Escambia County. In 1998, Mr. Landrum was named Business Leader of the Year by the Pensacola Area Chamber of Commerce. In 2003, he was named Trustee of the Year by the Florida Coalition for Children. In 2005, he received the Ethics in Business Award, granted by the University of West Florida College of Business and Combined Rotary Clubs of Pensacola, and in 2008, he was named a Foundation Fellow by the UWF Foundation Board of Trustees. Also in 2008, he was chosen by Baptist Health Care Foundation to receive the Hollinger Award as Volunteer of the Year. In 2016, NAPEO presented him with the Michaeline Doyle Award, its highest award for service to the industry. Mr. Landrum earned a Master of Science degree in 1969 and a Bachelor of Science degree in 1959 from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
