H B Koplowitz

H B KoplowitzH.B. Koplowitz is a journalist and educator who has authored three books and ghostwrote a fourth for an Illinois governor who did not go to prison. While reporting for his hometown newspaper in the 1980s, he wrote "Carbondale After Dark," an illustraed anthology of history, essays and short stories about the community in the 1960s and '70s. In the 1990s he moved to Los Angeles, where he wrote columns about the Internet and pop culture for a weekly. He also edited for a wire service and faculty advised the student newspaper at a community college in South-Central L.A..
