Gyorgyi VorosGyorgyi Voros is a poet, writer, and scholar living in Blacksburg, Virginia. Currently Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Hollins University, she has an MFA from Brooklyn College and a Ph.D. from City University of New York. Voros has been a ellow at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her poems have appeared in many literary journals, including Boulevard, Parnassus: Poetry in Review; Shenandoah; and Terra Nova: Nature and Culture. She is the author of Notations of the Wild: Ecology in the Poetry of Wallace Stevens (U Iowa P, 1997) and is working on a book about metaphors deriving from ecology and the environmental movement in contemporary poetry and the visual arts.
