Gwen LaneGwen Lane (1960-2019) was a Tennessee native who passed away after a 10-year valiant and courageous battle with stage IV metastatic breast cancer. As the daughter of a farmer and an English teacher, she developed an early love for land and language ats that inspired her favorite hobbies of photography and writing poetry. She received a B.S. in English with a Mass Communication minor from Middle Tennessee State University, graduating summa cum laude. Gwen taught high school English for 19 years, including college level Advanced Placement English Language and Composition. Her poem "Line Dance" was published in Trout Magazine. Read More Read Less
