Guthema RobaGuthema Roba immigrated to the US in 2001 from Ethiopia and started working for the Hennepin County library. Over the last ten years, his writing has shifted intensely from outside towards the heart. Disguised as daybreak, poems knock on his chest evry day. "My task is to get up and open the door. It is that easy and effortless," he says. "The world is already starving for love and light and poetry like this," he adds. He no longer identifies himself as a poet or a writer of any kind.
