Guadalupe de La RosaDr Guadalupe de la Rosa is a Professor at Universidad de Guanajuato in the Department of Chemical, Electronic and Biomedical Engineering. She received her PhD in Engineering and Environmental Sciences at the University of Texas at El Paso, USA, and cnducted her postdoctoral stay at the Center for Environmental Implications of Nanotechnology, University of California at Los Angeles. In 2012, she served as the Head of the Department of Research Affairs and 2012-2014, she served as Head of the Chemical, Electronic and Biomedical Engineering Department. She has authored over 40 articles and 5 book chapters. Her research focuses on the characterization and remediation of sites contaminated with metals, application of Synchrotron Light techniques in solving environmental problems, and the production of nanomaterials with green chemistry and their applications.
