Gregory PavelaGregory Pavela has a PhD in sociology from the University of Florida. He serves as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the School of Public Health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and is a past Chair of the Ethics Section, AmericanPublic Health Association.
