Gregory L ScottGregory Scott received his Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Toronto, with a dissertation on Aristotle's book known as the POETICS (supervisor Francis Sparshott). There he studied under one of the great commentators of the POETICS, Daniel deMontmollin, along with Joseph Owens ( Aristotle's METAPHYSICS) and Brad Inwood (Pre-Socratics). After teaching in philosophy departments in the US and Canada and having had a background in ballet, he directed the Doctoral Program in Dance Education at New York University (NYU).
