Gregory Feltenberger

Gregory FeltenbergerGregory S. Feltenberger, PhD, MBA, FACMPE, FACHE, has over 23 years of operational health care experience and is the Chief Executive Officer at the Idaho Urologic Institute and the Surgery Center of Idaho. In addition, he is a retired Lieutenant Coloel and Medical Service Corps officer (health services administrator) after 21 years of active duty from the United States Air Force. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer and Commander, 10th Medical Support Squadron at the Air Force Academy hospital and prior to that was the Director of Managed Care/TRICARE Flight Commander at the Air Force Academy hospital. Before the Air Force Academy, he was the Chief of Performance Improvement Tool Development at the Office of the Air Force Surgeon General, Air Force Medical Support Agency, Data Modeling & Analysis Office in Falls Church, Virginia. And Greg has been a Chief Information Officer, Chief of Information Management, Group Practice Manager, and Medical Control Center Team Chief. In addition, Greg was competitively selected and completed a 10-month fellowship in Survey Development, Analysis, and Performance Measurement at the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). Greg has extensive experience in the use of bivariate and multivariate statistics, sampling methodologies, quantitative and qualitative research methods, and statistical software. He received a PhD from Old Dominion University in Health Services Research. Also, Greg has a MBA in Information Systems from Kent State University and a BA in Specialized Studies/Biomedical Equipment Technology (Summa Cum Laude). He is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), the standard-setting and certification body of the MGMA; a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives; and a Certified Medical Practice Executive in the American College of Medical Practice Executives. Also, he was the President of the Idaho Medical Group Management Association (2016) and is a board member of the Saint Alphonsus Foundation.
