Gregoire HodderGregoire Hodder is a British children's book author and publisher. He is the owner of the independent publishing company Cambridge Children's Books. Born and raised in Cambridge, Gregoire started writing from a young age. Reading has always been a bi part of how Gregoire developed. His understanding of the world, his morals and values, were shaped by the books he read. For this reason, Gregoire always had a passion for English and wanted to explore its impact on Education. He studied Education and English Literature at Cambridge University, where he learnt about how children read a story, and the importance of images as well as text in a child's approach to books. After his degree, he spent a decade doing charity work that was instrumental in giving him a humanitarian and civic outlook. These experiences eventually led him to found Cambridge Children's Books, which allowed him to publish stories that are playful and fun, but always convey important messages. He published such books as A Melting Planet, which raises awareness about climate change, and Cambridge Punting, which teaches children the culture and history of Cambridge, as well as Phase 4 Phonics.Gregoire also authored two children's books of his own. The first one, The Little Lotus Flower, is a journey of self-discovery that will inspire wisdom in the hearts of kids and parents alike. His most recent book, Lovebirds, is all about love and shows that the natural world has a lot to teach about life and relationships. Gregoire sees children's books as an important tool to develop children's literacy skills, but also important morals and values such as empathy, love, and curiosity. Read More Read Less
