Gregg SeidlBorn in the Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany on July 21, 1960, Gregg Seidl has spent most of his life in the city. A 1978 graduate of New Albany High School, Seidl enlisted in the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in August 1982. He workd for more than eighteen years in the construction industry before attending Indiana University Southeast in the fall of 2001 with his daughter, Amelia, at his side. Graduating from the college in 2006 with a bachelor of arts degree in American history, Seidl has since worked as a college instructor and substitute teacher for the Jefferson County Public School system in nearby Louisville, Kentucky.
