Before transitioning to the financial industry, Gordon spent 10 years as a commercial real estate broker. He is the past President and Chairman f the Financial Planning Association of San Diego, where he formed a non-profit organization called Financial Independence Training (FIT) which, still to this day, provides financial education to the men and women of the military.
