Gordon A MuellerAuthor Gordon A. Mueller grew up on a farm outside Bennington and received two degrees at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. His family settled in the Bennington area in the 1870s, and his great-grandparents were members of Bennington's founding failies. His great-grandfather served on the first city board. Mueller started his career as a tour guide at Lincoln's Home in Springfield, Illinois, and wrote Lost, a Desert River and Its Native Fishes: A Historical Perspective of the Lower Colorado River.
