Born in 1964 and awarded a degree in Philosophy and Sociology of Culture at University of Ljubljana in 1989, he lives in Ljubljana and works as a freelance writer, reviewer, translator, and editor. Polajnar has ompleted a variety of written works, including a novel, short stories, a play, scripts for cartoon strips, a film screenplay, and a book of essays.
