Glyn Cannon

Glyn CannonGlyn Cannon was born 1976 in Tottenham, North London. On Blindness was first written as one of the lunchtime readings in Wild Lunch VI (produced by Paines Plough and Graeae in May 2002 at the Young Vic). Cannon was subsequently commissioned towrite the full version. Other recent theatre writing includes Nebuchadnezzar, Coffee and Appalachia (Latchmere Theatre and BAC) and a new version of Sophocles' Antigone, entitled Gone, which was produced at LAMDA. As well as writing, he also teaches, and has worked at Goldsmiths College, University of London and Central School of Speech and Drama, and led writers' workshops as far afield as the Teatr Rozmaitosci in Warsaw.
