She attained an ATCL in Speech and Drama while working for the South African Broadcasting Corporation in Johannesburg, South Afric. Glenda worked as a news editor and sometime broadcast journalist for the Swaziland Broadcasting and Information Service, as a sub-editor for The Times of Swaziland, news anchor for Swaziland Television, and stringer for various international news agencies.
