Giorgio ShaniProfessor Giorgio Shani is Chair of the Department of Politics and International Studies and Director of the Rotary Peace Center at International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan. He was educated at the University of London and was a Visiting Senio Fellow at the Centre of International Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science from 2016 to 2017. Author of Sikh Nationalism and Identity in a Global Age (Routledge 2007) and Religion, Identity and Human Security (Routledge 2014), he has published widely in internationally refereed journals and is currently writing a book on Sikh Nationalism (Cambridge University Press).
