Giorgia AielloGiorgia Aiello is Professor of Culture and Communication at the University of Leeds (UK) and Associate Professor in Sociology of Culture and Communication at the University of Bologna (Italy). She has written extensively about the problems and potentals of visual communication in digital media, cities, and everyday life. She is a co-author of Visual Communication: Understanding Images in Media Culture (with Katy Parry; SAGE 2020) and a co-editor of Communicating the City: Meanings, Practices, Interactions (with Matteo Tarantino and Kate Oakley; Peter Lang, 2017).
