Gianfranco NataleProf. Gianfranco Natale has a degree in Medicine and Surgery, and attended a Specialization Course in Clinical Pharmacology at University of Pisa, Italy. His didactic activity (human anatomy) is delivered in several university courses of the medical rea, including doctorate courses, masters and winter and summer schools. As academician he has many publications in various national and international journal of repute, with h-index 25. He has presented 150 research abstracts in various national and international conferences. His areas of interest in research include the following topics: morphofunctional alterations induced by stressing agents (electromagnetic fields, noise) in different organs, including heart and adrenal gland; morphometry, pharmacology and physiopathology of the experimental peptic ulcer; morphofunctional alterations of the gastrointestinal tract in experimentally induced neurodegenerative diseases; studies of gross anatomy, with particular reference to myofascia. He is director of the Museum of Human Anatomy "Filippo Civinini" of the University of Pisa.
