His poems and translations have appeared in numerous anthologies and journals throughout the Americas. He is founder and editor of Cardboard House Press, and he has presented exhibitions at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts in San Francisco and the University of Arizona Poetry Center in Tucson.
