Gerard MarkhamGerard (Jerry) Markham is retired, has six grandchildren and is a first-time children's book author. His affiliation with Ray of Light Farm, Mr. Beans and the many books he has read to his grandchildren inspired him to write a book of his own. Jerry eceived a BS in Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point along with an MBA from Webster University. Jerry served as an Army Infantry Officer and has held several executive positions in various businesses during his work life. Because of his unorthodox background for writing children's books, he relied heavily on his wife and family's support to produce The Wonderful Mr. Beans. Jerry relates to Mr. Beans.
