Gerald HartwigAfter graduation, Gerald Hartwig moved to L.A. to study film. He lived in the U.S. for ten years and was fortunate enough to collect a myriad of valuable experiences that sparked his growth. His art was exhibited in L.A., Berlin, Dresden, Mexico, Triidad, and Austria. He then moved to Berlin to explore this city as well. After five years of living and working there, he moved back to his home town of Graz in 2013, where he lives now with his wife and three children. In 2013 Luftschaft Verlag published his first graphic novel, Chamäleon. He founded Edition Brudertwist in a partnership with his brother. Georg. Their family-run book publishing company produces humorous books once or twice a year. Together with Madhu Einsiedler, he has collaborated on this graphic novel and the Growth Is cartoons.
