Georgina WaylenGeorgina Waylen is a Professor of Politics at the University of Manchester. She is the author of Gender in Third World Politics (Lynn Rienner 1996) and Engendering Transitions: Women's Mobilization, Institutions and Gender Outcomes (Oxford UniversityPress 2007) which was awarded the Victoria Schuck Prize by the APSA in 2008; and she is the co-editor of five edited collections including the Oxford Handbook on Gender and Politics (Oxford University Press 2013) and New Frontiers in Feminist Political Economy (Routledge 2013). Between 2012-2017 she is leading a 5 year European Research Council funded project entitled Understanding Institutional Change: A gender perspective (www.manchester.ac.uk/uic).
