George Junior Marti

George Junior MartiGeorge Marti joined the Navy as a radio operator during World War II. Later, he studied Chemical Engineering and graduated from Ohio State University in 1951. As a certified professional engineer, he worked in the Far East as the Managing Director ofsales for Infilco, Inc. where he negotiated directly with Ministerial and Presidential foreign officials.He was a native of Warren, Ohio, and a longtime resident of Covington, Louisiana. He cultivated a wonderful sense of humor and inspired many people throughout his life.After five years working in Hong Kong, China, he returned home to the USA and started several successful businesses in mud logging, oil and gas investment, marine cleaning, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and land development. He engineered and built several neighborhoods and complexes in the New Orleans and North Shore area including Lacombe Harbor, Sailboat Bay Apartments, and Madisonville on The Lake. He was an avid tennis player and at one time, ranked 7th in the Southern Senior Singles.His love of knowledge propelled his curiosity about how systems, society, and government influences our lives. He authored the Pierre LeBlanc books, The Great Crash and The Cover-Up as a manifesto to explain how the 1986 tax law affected millions of Americans. Read More Read Less
